The Foundation and Purpose of the Initiative

"Love Testimony" is more than just an organization; it is a sanctuary and oasis of God’s love. We believe that the most compelling evidence for the Gospel is not found in words or doctrines alone, but in the tangible, sacrificial love for God and for each other. Therefore, the initiative is committed to moving faith from the realm of private belief into the public sphere of communal action and profound interpersonal connection.
The Vertical Dimension: Love for God

The first pillar of this mission is the pursuit of love for God, which is cultivated through intentional practices of prayer, genuine worship, and obedience to His commands, recognizing that our capacity to love others is directly proportional to our understanding and reception of God's love for us.
The Horizontal Dimension: Love for One Another

Flowing directly from the vertical love for God is the second pillar: a radical, unconditional love for one another. "Love Testimony" believes that loving one another means practicing active empathy, bearing each other's burdens and looking out for one another. We do that through clothing the naked and feeding the hungry, as the Word of God commands us in Matt 25:35
…and these three remain; Faith, Hope and Love, the greatest of which is, LOVE!!! 1 Cor 13:13.
To help humanity realise that God's Love and grace are the only escape from sin, loss and pain.
To be an ark and oasis of God's Love, healing and transformation in an world that is confusing, lost and hurting
Back in time, when I had just come to Kla, I stayed with a close relative. We had lost our parents and did not have means. She would leave me with little or no money. I would buy a small pint of water and popcorn for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, I would run to a nearby Church which cooked for the community and would line up for some pilao. I told myself when I grew older I would feed the hungry. Rukundo Egumeho kitchen exists to do that. We curate weekly meals and identify a community to bless. We also eat together as a church community. In Acts 2: the early church met daily to pray, read the word of God and break bread.
During the Covid 19 lockdown, I fell sick. I was staying alone on top of a hill. As I crawled to reach the pot and draw some drinking water, I promised God if/when He healed me, I would would ride my bike (only motorbikes were allowed to move at the time) and reach out to people like myself, with no one to help them. God indeed healed me. I stretched Canvases and painted many abstract murals...

Before I found Love testimony I felt completely alone. I was struggling to provide for my children and didn’t know where to turn. The team here didn't just give me food and supplies; they gave me back my dignity.
Community
I decided to donate to Love testimony because I saw the immediate impact of their work in my community. This isn't just a charity; it is a lifeline. They don't just treat the symptoms of poverty; they address the root causes.
